All I can say is... this place is phenomenal! We ate here on a Sunday and arrived when they opened at 1pm. It’s a great sign that they were half full by 1:15 and had a full house by 2pm. There isn’t one thing that was disappointing. The restaurant itself is cute and warmly decorated. Our server Sarah was on point from beginning to end. She greeted us right way and took our drink order. She also gave several good recommendations to our menu questions. Each table is served a loaf of fresh, warm Italian bread, homemade garlic bread and family style salad with their own vinaigrette. Both types of bread were fantastic! The garlic bread is exceptional. We started with the bacon wrapped scallops. The bacon was crisp and cooked perfectly. It wasn’t fatty or soggy. It was really perfect! Scallops were tender and the wasabi dipping sauce had just enough kick. My entree was the 18 oz. cowboy ribeye, medium rare with sauteed spinach and broccoli rabe and garlic. The steak was superb, cooked perfectly and very tender. My veggies were excellent. Both bright green so I am assuming they got them from a local farm. They were both in a light broth with a little oil. Broccoli rabe had a touch of red pepper flakes so they had a kick. My husband had the menu special. Twin lobster tails with crab meat stuffing and their homemade pasta AND homemade sauce. He raved about everything. The lobster was tender and the stuffing was mostly lump crabmeat. However, he is still talking about the pasta. I know this phrase is over used but... he was blown away. Then Sarah came back with another round of bread! Needless to say we were stuffed when we left and the price was absolutely more than reasonable. We decided that EVERY time we go to Atlantic City we will, without a doubt, stop at Joe’s for lunch or dinner.

It was my husband and I first time at this Maplewood and we had an excellent experience. It was Mothers Day weekend and there was a little wait but it was well worth it . The food was great and our waiter was excellent too. We will definitely be going back again .

We sat in the bar area celebrating our friend’s birthday. I did not get her name, but the bartender working the evening of 10/15/24 was excellent. The food was excellent. Nice sized portions and so delish! Drinks were on point too. Will definitely come again.

Great atmosphere and food. I went with my work colleagues for dinner and reservations are recommended for Friday evening. I ordered Eggplant Parm with home made pasta. Homemade pasta was mouth watering tastes so good. They also serve fresh baked breads which melts when I had them. Excellent service and good atmosphere. I am definitely looking forward Dining in here again.

The food is always outstanding. Once you are seated, service is swift and courteous. Although it's likely you will wait to be seated, as there are no reservations, the level of quality is well worth it. I was there with my family (a party of 5) on Father's Day and was told we would be waiting between 30-40 minutes. However, the group ahead of us decided to leave, and we only waited about 10 minutes. I had the crab cakes and they were amazing. I would highly recommend them for an intimate night out or a larger party.

We just dined here for the first time and loved it! The food from breads to desserts were delicious. We had a table of 5 at 4:30, if you want a table without waiting, go early. The homemade pasta was amazing! Highly recommended. I had the shrimp and scallops in the blush sauce. .My husband had the pork chop and really enjoyed it. Service was top notch! Atmosphere was a bit dark, but romantic. The peanut butter pie was the best we've had in a long time. We all had a few drinks, which were great as well. This place gets 5 out of 5!

The Salad garlic bread, long hots, the dinner everything was fantastic! Thank you ! Although there are a few negative reviews on this site you can definitely go on my word since I have eaten at thousands of fabulous restaurants and I am sort of a food critic. The restaurant in my opinion is a winner ! .
